METTL18

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL18 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 487 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL18-associated genes across cancer lineages are FGFR3P6, MIR98, and DOC2B. Each is linked with METTL18 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL18-to-partner and partner-to-METTL18 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FGFR3P6 grouped by METTL18-low versus METTL18-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (METTL18→partner) and Y-score (partner→METTL18) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
