Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, METAP1D RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated METAP1D data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher METAP1D RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated METAP1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and BRCA show a favorable association.

THCA, ACC, and READ are the cancer types where METAP1D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
