Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, METAP1D mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated METAP1D data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher METAP1D mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated METAP1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where METAP1D mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
