Across TCGA cell cohorts, MESP1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,840 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MESP1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Somite rostral/caudal axis specification, Regulation of endodermal cell differentiation, and Cardiac vascular smooth muscle cell differentiation. Each is linked with MESP1 in more than 11 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MESP1-to-partner and partner-to-MESP1 results are reported.
