Across TCGA cell cohorts, MEPCE mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 286 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MEPCE-associated genes across cancer lineages are IQCF5, ELOA3DP, and C8orf74. Each is linked with MEPCE in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MEPCE-to-partner and partner-to-MEPCE results are reported.
