Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MEF2C protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,037 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MEF2C-associated genes across cancer lineages are TMEM119, PECAM1, and GIMAP8. Each is linked with MEF2C in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MEF2C-to-partner and partner-to-MEF2C results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MEF2C versus TMEM119 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.36.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MEF2C→partner) and Y-score (partner→MEF2C) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
