Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED18 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MED18 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC are the cancer types where MED18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
