Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED15 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MED15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.
LUSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MED15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
