Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED13 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MED13 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, SKCM, and GBM are the cancer types where MED13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
