Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED13 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED13 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher MED13 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where MED13 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
