Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MDH2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,860 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MDH2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACTR3B, NSUN5P1, and MT-CO2. Each is linked with MDH2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDH2-to-partner and partner-to-MDH2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MDH2 versus ACTR3B in OV, with a Pearson correlation of 0.39.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MDH2→partner) and Y-score (partner→MDH2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
