Across TCGA patient cohorts, MDH1B protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,720 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDH1B-associated genes across cancer lineages are SPTLC2, CERT1, and KAT2B. Each is linked with MDH1B in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDH1B-to-partner and partner-to-MDH1B results are reported.
