Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCUB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MCUB data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MCUB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCUB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, SKCM, and SCLC are the cancer types where MCUB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
