Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCL1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,982 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CXCL9, AXIN2, and EXO1. Each is linked with MCL1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCL1-to-partner and partner-to-MCL1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MCL1 versus CXCL9 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.30.
