MC5R

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MC5R RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,166 significant associations in total. ACC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC5R-associated genes across cancer lineages are MC2R, RTL6, and PLXNA4. Each is linked with MC5R in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC5R-to-partner and partner-to-MC5R results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MC5R versus MC2R in ACC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.51.

RNA expression associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC5R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC5R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
