Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MC5R mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,548 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MC5R-associated genes across cancer lineages are UTP18, MRM1, and VDAC2. Each is linked with MC5R in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC5R-to-partner and partner-to-MC5R results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, UTP18 grouped by MC5R-low versus MC5R-high in UCEC.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC5R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC5R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
