MC3R

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MC3R protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 65 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC3R-associated genes across cancer lineages are PI4KB, HPS6, and CHP2. Each is linked with MC3R in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC3R-to-partner and partner-to-MC3R results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MC3R versus PI4KB in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of -0.79.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC3R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC3R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
