MC1R

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MC1R mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,244 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC1R-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4735, TMEM31, and ERCC6L. Each is linked with MC1R in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC1R-to-partner and partner-to-MC1R results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR4735 grouped by MC1R-low versus MC1R-high in LIHC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC1R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC1R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
