Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MBTD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MBTD1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher MBTD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MBTD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, COAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where MBTD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
