Across TCGA cell cohorts, MBOAT7 RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,062 significant associations in total. UPPER_AERODIGESTIVE_TRACT shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBOAT7-associated genes across cancer lineages are TSEN34, PPP1R12C, and ACTN4. Each is linked with MBOAT7 in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBOAT7-to-partner and partner-to-MBOAT7 results are reported.
