Across TCGA cell cohorts, MBOAT4 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,385 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBOAT4-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of myoblast fusion, Negative regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion, and Negative regulation of calcium ion export across plasma membrane. Each is linked with MBOAT4 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBOAT4-to-partner and partner-to-MBOAT4 results are reported.
