Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MBLAC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MBLAC1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MBLAC1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MBLAC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and PDAC are the cancer types where MBLAC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
