Across TCGA patient cohorts, MBD2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,133 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are CHEK2P3, KCNAB1-AS1, and RPL23AP4. Each is linked with MBD2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBD2-to-partner and partner-to-MBD2 results are reported.
