Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAZ mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 15 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAZ-associated genes across cancer lineages are ERK2, FoxM1, and Ku80. Each is linked with MAZ in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAZ-to-partner and partner-to-MAZ results are reported.
