Across TCGA patient cohorts, MATN1-AS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 8,130 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MATN1-AS1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are HMGCL, TNS3_S776, and ELF4_S188. Each is linked with MATN1-AS1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MATN1-AS1-to-partner and partner-to-MATN1-AS1 results are reported.
