Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MASTL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MASTL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MASTL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MASTL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MASTL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
