Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MARVELD2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MARVELD2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MARVELD2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MARVELD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MARVELD2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
