Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAPK9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAPK9 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MAPK9 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAPK9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MAPK9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
