Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAP9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAP9 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MAP9 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAP9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MAP9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
