Across TCGA patient cohorts, MANF protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 21,048 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MANF-associated genes across cancer lineages are MZB1, IGLV2-23, and IGKV3OR2-268. Each is linked with MANF in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MANF-to-partner and partner-to-MANF results are reported.
