Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MANEA-DT RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MANEA-DT’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where MANEA-DT RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MANEA-DT is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as UCEC and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MANEA-DT tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
