Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MANBA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MANBA data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher MANBA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MANBA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LGG, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MANBA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
