Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAK mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 29 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAK-associated genes across cancer lineages are Rad50, Annexin-1, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with MAK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAK-to-partner and partner-to-MAK results are reported.
