Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGI1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MAGI1 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MAGI1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and SCLC show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and SCLC are the cancer types where MAGI1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
