Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGED4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MAGED4 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MAGED4 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGED4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and BLCA show a favorable association.
KICH, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where MAGED4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
