Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAGEA9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAGEA9 data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MAGEA9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAGEA9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where MAGEA9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
