Across TCGA cell cohorts, MAFF RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,031 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAFF-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of small GTPase mediated signal transduction, Regulation of epithelial cell differentiation, and Regulation of epidermal cell differentiation. Each is linked with MAFF in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAFF-to-partner and partner-to-MAFF results are reported.
