Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LYPLAL1-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LYPLAL1-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LYPLAL1-DT RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LYPLAL1-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where LYPLAL1-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
