Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LSM4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LSM4 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher LSM4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LSM4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and LUSC are the cancer types where LSM4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
