Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC8E mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC8E data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher LRRC8E mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC8E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where LRRC8E mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
