Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC8C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC8C data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher LRRC8C Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC8C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and SCLC are the cancer types where LRRC8C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
