Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC8C-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LRRC8C-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher LRRC8C-DT RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC8C-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and BRCA show a favorable association.

PAAD, BRCA, and CESC are the cancer types where LRRC8C-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
