Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC74B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRC74B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where LRRC74B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRC74B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, LUSC, and KICH are the cancer types where LRRC74B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
