Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC37A12P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRC37A12P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where LRRC37A12P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRC37A12P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PRAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where LRRC37A12P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
