Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC37A11P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRC37A11P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where LRRC37A11P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRC37A11P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, KIRP, and KICH are the cancer types where LRRC37A11P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
