Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher LRRC3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUSC, THCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where LRRC3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
