Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRIG1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRIG1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LRIG1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRIG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ESCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where LRIG1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
