Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LPIN2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LPIN2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher LPIN2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LPIN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where LPIN2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
