Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LMNB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LMNB1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher LMNB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LMNB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA show a favorable association.
ESCA, SARC, and BRCA are the cancer types where LMNB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
