Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LMAN1L RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LMAN1L’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where LMAN1L RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LMAN1L is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where LMAN1L tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
